This course is an approved elective for the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR®) designation, which is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation and which is conferred by the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC).

Instructor Overview: Mark H. Shear

Mark H. Shear, CAI, GPPA-M, CES, AARE, is a third-generation auctioneer and President of Berman Auctioneers & Appraisers (a division of BidMark Services, Inc.) in Worcester, MA. Mark is a member of the National Auctioneers Association Board of Trustees of Education and is Committee Chair of the Accredited Auctioneer Real Estate (AARE) designation.

Mark is a graduate of the University of Minnesota where he earned his B.S. from the Carlson School of Management in Marketing, Finance and a Minor in Economics. He is recognized as a leader in the auction industry, having been recognized and published in The New England Real Estate Journal as well as other regional and local publications. Mark is active as a speaker, educating and promoting the auction method of marketing to the traditional real estate community where he is also a broker and REALTOR®.
