New Courses
NAR's Green Designation
Harness the energy of the only green designation recognized by the National Association of REALTORS®. It’s the perfect time for smart REALTORS® to join the trend by earning the brand new credential from NAR: the Green Designation. Get the designation that will open up opportunities to access new markets, build your customer base and be a positive force for in your community.
Supported by the Green REsource Council and offered through REBAC and REALTOR® University, NAR’s Green Designation will teach you about green building principles applied to residences, commercial properties, developments, and communities, so that you can list, market, and manage green properties as well as guide your clients in purchasing them. You’ll become an expert in innovations in green home construction and retro-fitting, resource-efficient home systems, evaluating the cost-benefit of green-home features, and much more.
To earn the Green Designation, students must complete a twelve-hour core course called the NAR Green Designation Course (available online this month), plus one six-hour elective. The NAR Green Designation Residential Elective is available online.
