Kevin Hood has over twenty five years experience providing entrepreneurial support programs for a wide range of individuals and organizations across North America. He is the President of Market Access Corporation www.mktaccess.com and has worked with hundreds of start-up and emerging companies as well as a wide range of larger organizations such IBM, CIBC, Northwestern Mutual Financial, Microsoft Skills 2000, Philips Electronics and the Canadian Professional Sales Association. He is an MBA student advisor at Wilfrid Laurier University and teaches part time at the University of Waterloo in the Masters in Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology (MBET) program. His views on entrepreneurship have been featured in a wide range of business publications and daily newspapers. He was referred to on the television show W5 as a "professional entrepreneur" and the “self-employment guru”. He is the author of “Six Steps to Self-Employment”, a book for people interested in making a successful transition to self-employment. He also originated and co-developed the Self Employment Profile (SEP), a powerful psychometric personal profiling tool that is highly effective in identifying the ideal self-employment environment and strategy for a new entrepreneur.
