This series was created following recommendations stemming from the Methadone Task Force which called for the creation of a methadone mentorship program for pharmacists. This series is being provided free of charge to pharmacists with funding from the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care.
These online education modules are delivered and developed by the expert speakers. The series is designed to address some of the common questions and concerns of pharmacists as they relate to the provision of methadone services. The sessions are intended to enhance the participant’s understanding of the management of patients on methadone maintenance therapy.
Please note that this online education program does not replace the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) workshop or other mandatory and approved courses required by the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
This program is for educational purposes only. No continuing education units (CEUs) or certificate or record of completion are provided.
